SREBF2

SREBF2,即固醇调节元件结合蛋白2,别名包括BHLHD2。SREBF2是一种关键的转录因子,主要在内质网膜上定位,通过感应胆固醇水平的变化来调节胆固醇代谢相关基因的表达。SREBP2的作用机制涉及其在内质网中的感受胆固醇变化,当胆固醇水平降低时,SREBP2从前体蛋白中被切割激活,然后转移到细胞核内,与固醇调节元件(SRE)结合,激活下游基因的转录,这些基因包括低密度脂蛋白受体(LDLR)、3-羟基-3-甲基戊二酰辅酶A还原酶(HMGCR)等,从而调节细胞内胆固醇的合成和摄取。SREBP2是维持胆固醇稳态的关键调控因子,对于细胞功能和机体健康至关重要。SREBP2的异常表达或活性失调可能导致多种代谢性疾病,包括动脉粥样硬化、非酒精性脂肪肝病(NAFLD)等。

Immunofluorescence staining of Hela cells with CSB-PA666241LA01HU at 1:66, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).
