PRMT7

PRMT7,即蛋白质精氨酸甲基转移酶7,别名ANM7、FLJ10640、KIAA1933。PRMT7是蛋白质精氨酸N-甲基转移酶家族的一员,其编码的酶将单个甲基基团转移到精氨酸残基上,生成组蛋白及其他蛋白质底物上的单甲基精氨酸。PRMT7可对底物蛋白进行翻译后甲基化修饰,参与染色质结构调控、基因表达、细胞信号转导、蛋白质剪接体组装、细胞迁移、抗药性、再生能力及多能性维持等细胞活动。PRMT7在多种生理和病理过程中起关键作用,包括神经元分化、雄性生殖系印记、小核核糖核蛋白生物发生及Wnt信号通路调控。PRMT7的异常表达或功能失调与多种疾病相关,包括智力障碍、矮小及其他综合征。
