MGA

MGA,即MAX二聚化蛋白MGA,别名MAD5、MXD5。它在人体中广泛表达,尤其在卵巢、睾丸等组织中表达量较高。MGA是一种双特异的转录因子,含有3042个氨基酸,参与细胞命运规范和RNA聚合酶II对转录的正调控。MGA在维持胚胎干细胞的多能性以及胚胎发育早期起着重要作用,是多梳抑制复合物PRC1.6的一个组分,通过稳定PRC1.6复合物来发挥作用,主要沉默原始内胚层关键基因Gata4/6及Sox17,避免胚胎干细胞向原始内胚层的转变。MGA的功能异常与多种疾病相关,包括肿瘤和发育异常。MGA对于早期胚胎发育和细胞命运决定具有关键作用,其研究有助于深入理解胚胎早期细胞命运决定的分子机制。
