We are interested in the product Recombinant Xenopus laevis Zinc finger protein 346 (znf346), CSB-EP026691XBE (E.coli). However we have not decided to purchase the specific tag protein. Appreciate if you could provide us the following information:
1.We would need to conjugate the protein with enzyme, and there are many tag available for the protein. Could you provide me which tag and in which terminal would be appropriate for the purpose (conjugation with enzyme) with good efficiency?
2. Is chemical like SATP and sulfo-SMCC required for the conjugation? or if any other suggested conjugation protocol is available?
3. Also, is the protein expressed in full sequence of partial?

Proteins of this species haven't been expressed a lot in expression systems before, but there is a literature reports here:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16051273 , this is a double-strand RNA combined protein (The zinc-finger domains are required for binding to dsRNA), and each zinc-finger is connected through linker, the first or the last zinc-finger all has a piece sequence which won't influence whether you add the tag at its N-terminus or C-terminus, but for the structure of the protein begins from the C-terminus, and the customized protein we provide is a fragment at N-terminus, so here we suggest to have a try with the protein which tag is in N-terminus;
What's more, we couldn't grantee its 100% bioactivity for it's a customized protein and we haven't done the related experiments to test its bioactivity. Here is a reference for you:http://www.ebi.ac.uk/pdbe/entry/pdb/1ZU1 , which shows the sequence of the protein at N-terminus can be used in NMR test, and the sequence of Recombinant Xenopus laevis Zinc finger protein 346 (znf346) also is the fragment at N-terminus.
