We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Transcription factor that regulates asexual reproduction. Binds the StuA-response elements (StRE) with the consensus sequence 5'-(A/T)CGCG(T/A)N(A/C)-3' at the promoters of target genes. Required from the very earliest events of asexual reproduction until completion of conidiophore development, but is not specifically required for differentiation of conidia. Represses transcription of the abaA developmental regulatory gene and of the developmentally regulated awh11 gene. Controls the expression of the catalase-peroxidase gene cpeA. Plays an important role in cell wall biogenesis during the development by controlling the transcription level of fksA.
